Hang the Rapists

Rape, This word really gives me goose bumps. I wonder what the sufferer must be going through. It is such a crime which can be given no excuses. It is a heinous crime which not only destroys the person physically but mentally also. And now a day’s it’s not only about a girl’s rape but even teenage boys are included in this category. Where are we heading to? Are we morally/culturally dead? Or more specifically are we sleeping?
We are more concerned about that fact that Bangalore or Goa is safe for girls but just neglect the point that why other states are not!! Our system is nothing but has become a bunch of losers’ whom we choose to give us nothing but false promises and they will show their face again after five years.
The rapist is not scared because he knows our legal system has so many loopholes that even if he is in jail today he can move out after some time. He is now more confident. Others did so why can’t he! We are to be blamed, we have become not less than eunuchs who can only wish that the situation would become better. We will never raise our voice until the problem comes to us. We have a general or rather say a bad reasoning in favor of rapists that the girl must be wearing some provocative clothes or giving some odd signs that is why it happened. So how do you defy the rape of a sixty year old woman?? Was she wearing such clothes or giving abnormal sign? No it is not.
Mindset of rapists:”I need some fun too as I belong to the group who cares just about the fifteen seconds of ejaculation and not about the imprints I am leaving on the sufferer. I have a different mindset which feels proud in boasting that yes I raped someone. And I know that the girl won’t be able to tell anyone because our society will blame her only. She will be a silent sufferer and I am all set. This proves my dominance over my so called counterpart”.
How do you feel after reading the last paragraph? Does this one incite something inside you? If even it is 1% percent than stand for the cause. It can make difference to someone’s life. A crime is always a crime and thing like rape can never be excused. Rapists are criminals who need mental asylum. They should be tortured in the same manner. Obviously we are not here to take lives but still the person who doesn’t value life has no right to live. Change is what is needed whether it is in our legal system or how we take this as. Remember most of the crimes like these happen in the households which can be stopped with a little bit of effort. We just need to open our eyes. Wake up!
