Curious case
Character list:
Maria Susairaj: Model & Aspiring
actress
Neeraj Grover: Tv executive
J. Mathew: Lieutenant & Maria’s fiancee
The scene goes like this……
Maria was an aspiring film actress
(to be specific she already had few appearances in Kannada movies), she goes by
her instinct, gets on bed with a top class editor which is ethically wrong but
practically who cares! Wrong because she already was engaged plus having a
physical relation before marriage and that too for getting a role sounds
morally too incorrect. Her fiancée comes and sees all this drama and in a fit
of rage chops the editor in some uncountable pieces! Too horrible! The perfect
script for any movie.
Besides all this Maria is now
free, her fiancée behind the bar for seven more years while Mr. Editor enjoying
his stay in heaven or hell.
Considering all these persons separately,
Neeraj Grover was already famous had what he wanted but the fake promises he
made led him in this situation. What he did with the girl cannot be termed
other than rape. Having a physical relation on fake promises is simply not
correct.
The lieutenant was no where wrong,
any person in that situation would have done the same but chopping and raping
were the worst thing he could have done. Anger is something which can lead a
person nowhere; it is a dangerous turn with no end. It shows how vigorous you
are but being polite is the biggest trait a man can have. The person here
should have simply ended the relation with her girl friend and given Neeraj a
run for his life. He had many options but he chose the worst one! That is what
fate is all about. He had a great career a great life but now behind the bars
he is left with his sorrows.
Finally Maria who wanted to
establish herself in the industry had no way out; she did what was practically
correct for her she did not go by her heart. In the recent trend people hate
working hard and one or two failures lead them to shortcut, which is alluring
at first but the person who takes shortcut can never be happy and successful
all over. She should have tried more, made great contacts and then should have
made her presence marked with a bang.
I am no one to judge what is
correct and what is not, sometimes situations lead a person to a condition
where he is not able to judge what is right and what is wrong and he will never
think of the consequences at that point of time. In the above case all three of
them can be proved innocent if we consider their cases morally but practically I
think that Maria should also have been punished for the same, this one is my judgment
rest is all fate.
