Smile, laugh, celebrate
Smile is the curve which can set
everything straight.
Smile is the spark which can
lighten zillions of hearts.
Don’t you agree with the above
said lines? A smile can simply set you apart and make you forget those moments
of tension and worry. The general rush and the hectic schedule have created so
much pressure on us that we have forgotten to laugh, smile or even celebrate
our small achievements.
Few days back I just shared a
funny message with my colleague and to my surprise his reaction was like oh god
why did you do this to me!!Our life has become just like some machine which has
the only work of running and working. We have time to frown and stress our
muscles but the best thing i.e. smile/spending quality time is now lost. We are
nowhere living our life we always wanted to, it’s just we are running after
money. The monetary life has made our emotions almost zero.
During childhood the best thing
was the time we spent in the evening with friends after school. I still remember
how I just jumped into my mom’s lap after the first day of school. Those days
were just full of fun, playing, little or almost zero studies, and loads of friends
with zero tension of our future. And today sitting in front of my laptop I simply
have no reason to cheer except waiting for some vacation where I can again go
and spend some quality time with family & dearest friends.
Being futuristic is not bad but
running always after career or money is not at all good. This I might or might
not pursue but still I favor it. I remember one of my colleagues couldn’t
attend his father’s funeral because of his office projects. How good does that sound?
We are now more in habit of staying aloof in our virtual world in presence of
gadgets. We hardly care who our neighbors are. Slowly it forms into a habit and
we will start neglecting our family & friends too.
People reading this may consider it a bitter
truth but it is what we have become. I would surely love to revisit my childhood
(if possible) & would want to go to college again with my friends. I can feel
a drop of tear forming while writing this article, but I will choose to stay
happy.
