Why so obsession

No doubt the movie Mardaani was declared a hit. It did a good collection at box office in fact it deserved every penny spent on the making. Each and every character was perfectly woven into a close knit. The only problem I had while watching this movie was the title used. Is it really that important that being a “Mard” is the only virtue for our survival! Mardaani title was something I could not digest. The simple mention of Mard with a woman playing the protagonist is kind of incomprehensible to me. The actor was not at all muscular in fact she was just another lady who learnt the art of staying out of the boundary.

We as a society have made this mandatory that being muscular or the least being a man is the only way you can prove your dominance. It all depends on the way we see things. First of all why do we even need this dominance where we talk about gender equality? Why can not a girl who is not even muscular be strong? Is the physical dominance that important? We have made men synonymous with power. We are among those who are just meek spectator behaving like bunch of losers waiting for someone to dominate us.

It does not even go well with me when a women fights for her superiority, women belong to a superior class and will always be no matter what the situation arises. What I think is being a Mard is not that important but being a man is.
