Father's day message
My memory goes to 1989(was 3 years old), my dad or papa as I call him carrying me in his arms and taking me for a bath. I have some sweet memories associated with him and I’d like to pen down few of my thoughts on this Father’s day. He always was like too much disciplined and strict which I used to hate as a child, his scolding would just scare me to death but as I grew up I realized how much important all this was.
He has been a pillar of strength to our complete family. Although I haven’t seen much of his struggling life and the hard work he has put to bring stability to family and his career, but my mother always reminds me of the same. His grueling schedule, less time devotion to family and working hard (more than what a normal person would do) has finally paid off. He has achieved what he wanted to. He can proudly say that yes I am successful although his struggle to life won’t end here but still he has many things he can boast about. You name it and he has it. A gem of a person whose knowledge is not limited to his particular subject but I was amazed seeing him speak about my subject too! Ranging from politics to non politics, subject to non subject, national and international (you can keep counting) he can speak without prior preparation for any amount of time. His knowledge base is just unlimited. A person who reads around ten newspapers and magazines daily what you expect out of him!
He has handled the complete family on his own shoulders meeting the demands of his father, mother, brothers, wife, two young children and people around him. When I say people around him I really mean it as I haven’t seen anyone so generous and carefree about his money and belongings. He can lend his helpings hands to anyone. He has never said no to a single thing being demanded by us. He gave us the best when we wanted good whether it may result in negative for him but he did.
There are up’s and down’s in everyone’s career even he is no exception but the way he has sailed through is probably an exception! He is a living legend and I hope everyone gets a father like him.
We love you papa.
Happy Father’s Day
Yours loving son
