I Dream that I have wings
“I have a dream that I will fly
I have hopes that keep me alive
I want to run and fly high, to touch the eternity I need to keep my dreams high”
As a child I always wanted to become a pilot, I wanted to fly like the bird that touches the sky anytime they wish to. “Dreams are the first step towards your goal” was my first lesson at home when I started growing up. I was free to choose any career in which I was interested in but still today I am not a pilot but an engineer whose most time is spent in thinking how to change his job and switch into something more interesting.
So who is to be blamed when I am not a pilot?
Me? My parents? Society? Education System? Or some other factor you have in mind?
My answer would be none of these. As I grew up I was more interested in what my friends are doing and what fields they are opting for a better and brighter future. After passing out from school I told my father that I will opt for engineering and seeing the brighter prospects and my interest he got my admissions done into some engineering college. He did his job, I did my job but still the result is zero. Where do i stand now? I have no answer!
Call it a rat race, I am an engineer who has nothing or is not willing to put his energy in this even after 4 years. I am still fighting to figure out what I really want and where do I see myself after some ten to twenty years. I am just driving without any particular destination. I still need to do some tough thinking and decide where I want to head.
I want a change and I need a change. I want to do everything in this single life which has been given to me. Brain without any pressure is my need. I would love to travel, would love to dance, roam, whistle, play any time I wish to, and last but not the least I want to prove my existence and shout it out that yes “Count me in”.
“My affair with my destiny is on high
I wish I could fly”
I still fly but being on the rear seat. I would love to drive this huge man made machine some day.

I respect your feeling regarding dreaming high and to achieving them. But what I think, assume, You become success to get wings of your choice and even you are enjoying them at your highest level. But someday you will be saturated and my question is for that moment..
Is it the only purpose of life? Is it what we took birth? To fulfil our need is the only motto of this indefinite life? What would be your next dream at that moment and would achieving that dream make you satisfy for the question, "Is this life all about?"
No, I think life is much more to explore not in the matter of our materialistic needs but of our real needs regarding "Enlightenment of our own SOUL."
